Synergy in Moreton, UK, is seeking an Analytical Scientist to join state-of-the-art laboratories in a GMP environment. You will perform analytical testing of drug substances, intermediates and finished medicines, working closely with customer scientists and lab leads.
Ideal candidates have a Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry degree and hands-on experience with HPLC and other analytical techniques. You will contribute to method development, documentation, and ensure compliance with cGMP and ALCOA+

We're looking for a talented Analytical Scientist to join our growing team in state-of-the-art laboratories in Moreton. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with customer scientists and lab leads, contributing to the analytical testing of drug substances, intermediates, and finished medicines in a regulated GMP environment.
Support analytical investigations and troubleshoot technical issues
Contribute to method development, evaluation, and validation activities
Ensure accurate, compliant documentation aligned with cGMP and ALCOA+ principles
Support audit readiness for regulatory inspections
Adhere to all regulatory, statutory, and client-defined standards
Maintain a strong focus on lab safety and compliance
Proactively identify risks and implement solutions
Build strong relationships with internal teams (Lab Leads, Quality, EHS, Compliance)
Work collaboratively across Synergy and customer teams
Represent Synergy professionally at all times
Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience working within a GMP laboratory environment
Strong team player with a customer-focused mindset
Highly organised, with a proactive and results-driven approach
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to balance quality, safety, and delivery in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility may be required (e.g. early starts or adjusted hours)
Role involves active lab work including periods of standing and light physical activity
Work in cutting-edge laboratory facilities
