Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, is seeking an Analytical Laboratory Coordinator (Coordinator or Senior level) to support life-changing medicines development. You will ensure day-to-day lab operations run smoothly, coordinating with teams to maintain a safe, compliant environment and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Mathematics and English Language required.
• Degree level qualification in Analytical/Chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Previous relevant laboratory experience in a GMP/GLP environment.
• Working knowledge of multiple laboratory techniques and ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment qualification and lifecycle management.
• Lead laboratory compliance programmes and 5S initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance planning and laboratory improvement projects.
• Ensure facilities, equipment, documentation and processes meet GMP/regulatory requirements.
• Support scientists and technical teams to maintain high laboratory performance.
