Job summary

HIRANI is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the Quality team. You will perform chemical testing of raw materials, APIs and finished products using HPLC, GC, and UV/IR spectroscopy, and complete documentation to support regulatory compliance.

The role requires a science degree with strong analytical skills; candidates with GMP lab experience (2 years) will also be considered. Excellent written and oral communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a science-related discipline with a strong analytical background.
• 2 years GMP laboratory experience acceptable in the absence of a degree.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Desirable: practical laboratory experience.
• Desirable: GMP experience.
• Desirable: HPLC/GC experience.

Job description

The Analytical Chemist will work as part of the Quality team and will be required to perform chemical testing of raw materials, APIs and finished products using techniques that include, but are not limited to the following:

Preparation and Completion of associated Documentation

Applicants must therefore demonstrate the following essential criteria on their application form in order to be considered:

Applicants must be educated to degree level in a Science related discipline with a strong analytical background.

Applicants with 2 years GMP laboratory experience will be considered in the absence of a degree

Excellent written and oral communication skills
