Job Description

As part of the Product Analytics & Experimentation team, we support a data‑driven and results‑focused product organization. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of product analytics, data science, product development and business understanding. The candidate will have a technical curiosity, analytical and product background with strong communication skills and the ability to inform strategy and influence decisions that make an impact in the organization.

The candidate will be an analytics partner for the Now organization, focused on acquisition, engagement and retention analysis to drive business impact. They will collaborate across product, engineering, business and other experts to execute on the organization's strategic vision. The individual will develop and execute an analytics strategy, translating insights into actionable decisions throughout the entire product lifecycle.

They will partner with core product and business stakeholders, responsible for owning and delivering the data and metrics that drive core business decisions on the product direction and features, as well as partnering with other data and decision science teams to share best practices and improve capabilities around data modeling, instrumentation, analytics frameworks, and self‑service analytics tooling.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Product teams and stakeholders to deeply understand the product, product vision and measure the impact that core product features and changes drive for the business.
  • Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tooling to empower stakeholders to track trends and drive data driven decision making, providing ongoing reporting.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, measurable metrics, owning the definitions and democratization and usage, while authoring the technical specifications for engineering and instrumentation teams.
  • Analyze user interaction patterns across the platform, surfacing insights on engagement, retention and acquisition and recommend product/UX improvements that drive KPIs.
  • Diagnose platform or data anomalies, troubleshoot issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and deliver rapid, scalable solutions that restore reliability and confidence in analytics ecosystem.
  • Prepare and inform materials for stakeholders and leadership teams.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS or MS degree, ideally in Data Science or a quantitative field.
  • One year experience working in a data‑oriented role, conducting business analysis, data modelling or in a similar relatable work or internship.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate to both technical (analysts) and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel and SQL skills required (Python & Jupyter notebooks preferred).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
  • Experience with querying tools, cloud data, database and data management tools (Databricks, Snowflake, GCP).
  • Knowledge of statistical methodologies to support rigorous data analysis.
  • Self‑starter who is exceptionally curious, bringing new ideas and technologies into the team.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and thorough attention to detail.
Preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of global streaming business and metrics and their impact on the product.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics).
  • Experience in the technology industry and knowledge of data products.
  • Knowledge & Experience in A/B testing & RCTs and hypothesis testing.
  • Passionate about TV & Entertainment industry.
