Job summary

Analysis Group in London seeks an Analyst to work on complex business and litigation problems across practice areas. You will develop data-driven models using R, Stata, Python and other tools, and help synthesize findings to inform case strategy and expert reports.

You will collaborate with colleagues at all levels, participate in recruiting and inclusion initiatives, and contribute to client meetings and materials.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, data analytics or related quantitative subjects; relevant work experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong quantitative and research skills, including analytical and creative problem-solving; familiarity with AI tools; ability to research and learn continually.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong academic track record; attention to detail and organizational skills.

About the Analyst Position:

As an analyst, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within a collaborative environment. Analysts can expect to work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. Responsibilities and work experiences may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Quantitative analyses: you will help develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as R, Stata, Python and other programs
  • Qualitative research: you will conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis
  • Preparation of reports: you will assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda, and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings
  • Team collaboration: you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and have an opportunity to interact directly with clients
  • Firm-building initiatives: you will contribute to firm life by participating in recruiting, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives; pro bono work; and other business development activities
