As a Freight Audit Analyst, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in freight billing processes by auditing, analysing, and optimising transport cost data. You'll work closely with internal teams, customers, and carriers to drive continuous improvement in audit accuracy and automation.

What a day in life of looks like:
  • Audit customer invoices to identify invalid charges, rate discrepancies, and exceptions to audit rules.
  • Analyse rate tariffs and ensure correct integration within internal rate engines.
  • Maintain and update process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for knowledge sharing.
  • Prioritise daily account workloads, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to support automation and process improvements.
  • Support and participate in customer or carrier calls to resolve audit exceptions and strengthen relationships.
What you bring to the team:
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and solve problems independently.
  • Proven capability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple accounts efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis or ERP tools.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with confidence to collaborate across teams and share knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to financial accuracy, compliance, and process integrity.
