Reports to: Global Business Process Architect, D365 Programme
Department: Global Finance
Location: London (with global collaboration)

I. WHY THIS POSITION EXISTS

The Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the HERO Programme—a global transformation initiative implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 across CHANEL’s Finance & Operations landscape. This role will help ensure the successful design, documentation, and deployment of standardized global ERP processes, working closely with the Global Business Process Architect and cross‑functional teams.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Analysis & Documentation
  • Assist in analysing current and ‘To be’ regional processes across R2R, S2P, and O2C domains.
  • Support the development of future‑state process maps, swim‑lane diagrams, and RACI matrices.
  • Maintain and update HERO Core Model Solution Design documentation.
  • Track process deviations and support harmonisation efforts across divisions and towers.
ERP Implementation Support
  • Collaborate with technical teams to validate D365 configurations against business requirements.
  • Prepare functional workshop materials and assist in capturing requirements.
  • Support testing activities including scenario creation, UAT coordination, and defect tracking.
  • Monitor configuration changes and ensure alignment with governance protocols.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
  • Coordinate meetings and workshops with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Document stakeholder feedback and ensure traceability of decisions.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and organising training sessions.
  • Support change‑management initiatives in collaboration with the Communications team.
  • Work closely with the GPL’s, RPO’s and business stakeholders (and GPO’s) to support in ensuring the E2E flow for the business process is successful. Where one tower stops and another starts you will ensure that there are no gaps created that could/would impact business performance.
  • Understand organisational behaviours and structures to be able to spot people gaps in the process. Recognise frustration and be able to reframe an approach to ensure wide participation and understanding.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain dashboards and trackers for process design, testing, and deployment status.
  • Support periodic process health checks and quality assurance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to solution proposals.
  • Liaise with the HERO PMO for reporting, risk tracking, and milestone updates.

IV. WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, ERP support, or process documentation across multiple disciplines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart) and documentation standards.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Be able comfortable to support on both operational and financial flows. Good knowledge (and/or be able to easily research quickly) best practice in D365 FO for a given business process.
  • Naturally inquisitive, active listener with an open mind to learn and seek clarity and understanding will be critical to ensure that business requirements captured are clear and comprehensive.
