Job summary

Airfinity Ltd is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join the Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team to deliver high-quality scientific and commercial intelligence for pharmaceutical clients. You will conduct in-depth CVRM research, translate complex datasets into actionable insights, and contribute to forecasting and bespoke client projects.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a scientific discipline.
• PhD preferred though equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience in CVRM or related disease areas is desirable.
• Strong ability to translate complex scientific information into commercial insights.
• Experience with data visualisation, dashboards and storytelling.
• Experience with R, SQL or Python would be beneficial.

• Research emerging scientific and commercial developments in CVRM.
• Track clinical trials, drug candidates, pipelines, launches and positioning.

We are looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team, supporting the delivery of high-quality scientific and commercial intelligence to our clients.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong scientific knowledge and a passion for cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases who wants to apply their expertise within a commercial, data-driven environment.

You will conduct in-depth research and analysis across the CVRM landscape, helping translate complex scientific and commercial datasets into clear, actionable insights for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.

Your work will span custom analytics, competitive intelligence, forecasting and bespoke client projects, with opportunities to engage directly with clients and contribute to the continued development of Airfinity's CVRM analytics.

What You'll Be Doing

• Produce high-quality intelligence reports and analysis across the CVRM landscape.
• Research emerging scientific and commercial developments.
• Track clinical trials, drug candidates, competitor pipelines, launches and strategic positioning.

What We're Looking For

• A postgraduate degree in a scientific discipline, ideally with a focus on cardiovascular, renal and/or metabolic disease. A PhD is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong scientific research capability and genuine expertise or interest within the CVRM disease landscape.
• Ideally, experience within pharmaceutical forecasting, competitive intelligence, consulting or client-facing analytical work.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex scientific information into commercially relevant insights.
• Experience with data visualisation, dashboards and storytelling.
• An interest in using AI tools to enhance research, analysis and insight generation.
• Experience with R, SQL, Python or similar analytical tools would be beneficial.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
