Job summary

Arrow Global Group's Capital Allocation team seeks an experienced Analyst in London to translate strategy into numbers and deliver clear insights for leadership. This role sits within Fund Management and supports investors and internal stakeholders.

You will assist in investor queries, produce data reports, monitor fund performance, investigate trends and risk factors, and help prepare business plans and monthly forecasts.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in quantitative fields (STEM, Economics, Finance).
• Experience with large data sets and extracting insights.
• Excellent MS Excel skills and data-driven analysis.
• SQL experience for data querying and reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responses to investor queries and engage with external stakeholders.

Analyst, Capital Allocation

Description

We are seeking an experienced Analyst into our Capital Allocation team. This team is part of the Fund Management area of Arrow and is focused on ensuring the most appropriate capital allocation decisions are made on behalf of investors. The team is actively involved across all areas of the Arrow front-office, including capital formation & client relations, investments & lending decisions, as well as ongoing portfolio management, valuation and performance monitoring. You will work side-by-side with top professionals in translating strategy into numbers and then turning data into clear insights for leadership.

About the role

• Assisting in responses to investor queries surrounding the portfolio and performance, engaging with external stakeholders as necessary
• Supporting in the production and maintenance of data reporting for external investors and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring the performance of fund(s) under management, investigating trends, risk factors, and identifying areas requiring further analysis and risk mitigation
• Monitoring Investment performance and forward-looking investment pipeline, presenting findings and potential risk factors to internal stakeholders
• Assisting in responses to investor queries surrounding the portfolio and performance, engaging with external stakeholders as necessary
• Performing special projects/analysis and supporting in the preparation of business plans, monthly estimations / forecasts

What we’re looking for

• Strong academic background, within a quantitative discipline, e.g. STEM fields(s), Economics, Finance or similar
• Comfortable working with large data sets, identifying and presenting key insights
• A high degree of attention to detail with the ability to consolidate and interpret complex information from multiple sources
• Exceptional MS Office Excel skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems under pressure
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Self-motivated and capable of using own initiative to drive improvements in business processes
