The role of Analyst/Associate Credit Sector Strategist will help to provide credit sector analysis of corporate credit products. Primary objectives are to ensure timely and relevant intelligence is provided to internal and external clients. What will you do?

Responsibilities
  • Input into strategic risk positions
  • Ensure the product is aligned with internal stakeholders' interest ensuring name coverage is constantly reviewed
  • Ensure output is high quality, relevant and timely
  • Maintain a close relationship with other asset class research
  • Advise on credit developments and relative value opportunities through assisting with written notes, phone calls, meetings and presentations
  • Brief colleagues in sales and trading regularly on key credit themes and developments in the relevant sector

Qualifications
  • Analytical skills with experience in financial modelling and detailed spreadsheet work
  • Proven experience as a Research Analyst in financial markets
  • Superior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clients
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines, sometimes for extended periods of time
  • Good personal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment
  • Certified Person
  • Strong PC skills specifically in Microsoft Office applications and sourcing data from the internet, various publications and market data services
