What you’ll be doing as an Analyst
- Create, upkeep and present reports that demonstrate compliance with legal requirements, including reports and requests from government agencies such as DWI or DEFRA.
- Own system health, working with large data sets from multiple sources to identify trends and drive system compliance.
- Design and create dashboards to present key information in an easy‑to‑understand format.
- Provide input into ESS contractor performance meetings and reports, using data insights to improve utilisation of third‑party services.
- Support continuous improvement activity, using data insights to identify opportunities for operational and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Security Systems Lead to oversee maintenance requests and faults, ensuring the functionality of the AMC is maintained.
- Support the AMC upgrade project to ensure successful delivery of ESS systems.
- Develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using data analysis to inform the strategic development of IT systems and security equipment.
- Deliver agreed security KPIs and adhere to agreed SLAs.

What you should bring to the role
- A degree or equivalent within an analytical field (e.g. Science, Maths, Geographical disciplines) or substantial work experience in a similar role.
- Full driver’s licence.
- Subject to national security clearance when in post (NSV to CTC).
- Data, analytical and insight experience with strong numeracy and analysis skills.
- Experience in a related discipline (e.g. Business or Data Analyst) and a willingness to develop into a security role.
- Experience in developing and writing reports, with good written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and people influencing skills. Ability to communicate at all levels, present to an audience and build strong relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with data analytical tools such as Excel, PowerQuery, SQL and PowerBI.
