Senior Rating Analyst – Reinsurance

As a rating analyst, you will carry out credit analysis and assign ratings on a portfolio of (re)insurers under the guidance and support of an analytical team leader.

• Take responsibility for timely and high‑quality credit assessments on a portfolio of (re)insurers.
• Produce accurate and informative documentation to support the credit decision.
• Interact regularly with senior management of (re)insurers and attend company meetings to obtain relevant information.
• Present analysis at rating committee meetings and participate in rating committees of other analysts.
• Contribute to internal discussions regarding the state of the (re)insurance markets and rating issues.
• Contribute to external presentations, seminars, and the writing and research of external specialist reports commenting on key market issues and trends.
• Develop a network of contacts in the (re)insurance market (including clients, brokers and other stakeholders) to gather market intelligence.
• Occasional international travel will be required for this role.

• Developed knowledge of the insurance market and principles of finance and accounting.
