All the details

We're looking for a Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist to manage Adobe Analytics tracking across M&S UK/ROI websites and web applications. You'll ensure data accuracy and reliability across Adobe Analytics and Clickstream by writing tagging specifications, coding custom snippets within our tag management system, and configuring the analytics tool. The role involves building tests and alerts to monitor data quality and partnering closely with Product Owners, Analysts, and other teams across M&S. You'll work across a range of platforms - from our main retail sites to internal web apps like Assist and seasonal microsites such as School Uniform and Christmas Food to Order. A strong technical background in JavaScript, HTML, and experience with Adobe Analytics and tag management tools is essential, as you'll play a key part in bringing our data to life and supporting the vision of our Lead Visualisation Analyst.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What's in it for you

Being a part of M&S is exactly that - playing your part to bring the magic of M&S to our customers every day. We're an inclusive, dynamic, exciting, and ever evolving business built on doing the right thing and bringing exceptional quality, value, service to every customer, whenever, wherever, and however they want to shop with us.

Here are some of the benefits we offer that make working for M&S just that little bit more special

  • After completing your probationary period, you'll receive 20% colleague discount across all M&S products and many of our third‑party brands for you and a member of your household.
  • Competitive holiday entitlement with the potential to buy extra holiday days!
  • Discretionary bonus schemes awarded based on how you achieve your personal objectives and our performance as a business.
  • A generous Defined Contribution Pension Scheme and Life Assurance.
  • A dedicated welcome to our teams with a tailored induction and a wide range of training programmes to develop your skills.
  • Amazing perks and discounts via our M&S Choices portal to maximise your financial and personal wellbeing.
  • Industry‑leading parental, adoption, and neonatal policies, providing support and flexibility for your family.
  • Access to a fantastic range of wellbeing support for all colleagues including access to our 24/7 Virtual GP and PAM Assist to support you and your family.
  • A charity volunteer day to support a charity or cause you're passionate about through a dedicated day away from work
What you will be doing
  • Analyse key metrics and trends to uncover insights, driving data‑led recommendations that support innovation, optimisation, and business growth.
  • Shape the digital analytics data architecture by defining best practices, KPIs, and governance frameworks as part of a collaborative analytics team.
  • Present analytical findings in clear, visually engaging ways - delivering actionable insights that answer critical business questions.
  • Drive site performance and customer experience improvements through data interrogation, multivariate testing, and conversion uplift strategies.
  • Empower teams across M&S by identifying analytical needs, delivering tailored solutions, and championing self‑serve analytics through training and guidance.
You will have
  • A degree (or higher) in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, with a passion for using data to tell stories and solve problems.
  • Hands‑on experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture) and a solid understanding of digital data analysis.
  • A naturally curious and analytical mindset, able to organise and interpret data from different sources to uncover meaningful insights.
  • Great communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to share your findings and influence teams across the business.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with a proactive, collaborative approach to learning and growing. Experience with Adobe Analytics implementation or SQL would be a bonus.
