Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lead Analysis Engineer in North Lancashire. You will run dynamic analysis of subsea cables and protective systems using OrcaFlex, and you will lead the technical delivery of projects while coordinating a team of engineers.

You will also collaborate with the Sales team on bids, provide technical input, meet clients, and translate analysis outcomes into practical design improvements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with OrcaFlex is essential.
• Chartership is a bonus, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

White Label are working on a Lead Analysis Engineer role with a growing subsea engineering business in North Lancashire, I wanted to see if this role was of interest to you:

About the business

They design, assemble and test their own patented products in house, mainly cable protection systems for offshore renewables projects. The analysis team is growing, so it's a great time to join and help shape how the team develops and get stuck into some exciting projects.

What's on offer

• £50k to £60k DOE
• Hybrid working available, roughly 3 days in the office and 2 from home
• Early finish on Fridays (8:00 to 13:00), with 8:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday
• Flexible hours after probation

The role

• Running dynamic analysis of subsea cables and cable protection systems using OrcaFlex
• Leading the technical delivery of projects and coordinating the work of other engineers
• Working with the Sales team on bids and proposals, giving technical input and defining analysis scopes
• Client facing, with some customer visits and meetings
• Turning analysis results into practical design improvements

What they're looking for

• A working knowledge of OrcaFlex. You don't need to be an expert, ideally someone who's familiar with this
• A Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, although solid engineering experience can count in place of formal quals
• Chartership is a bonus, not a must
