An Analog Design Engineer skilled in the design and layout of high-speed circuits, an advanced user of EDA tools and with a deep understanding of transistor and wireline communications fundamentals will join a thriving scale-up semiconductor company, revolutionizing wired connectivity. Generous salary up to £90K and Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 WFH).

Key Requirements
  • Masters / PhD in Electronics or similar discipline.
  • Several years commercial experience in analog design and layout.
  • Expertise in the design and layout of high-speed circuits such as oscillators or phase-locked loops and other fundamental building blocks like amplifiers, buffers, regulators etc.
  • Experience with modern semiconductor process technologies.
  • An advanced user of EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso ideal) for design and verification of analog circuits.
  • Strong understanding of transistor and wireline communications fundamentals.

The successful Analog Design Engineer will be a key member of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary team of Engineers working on cutting‑edge technology enabling the build of low‑cost, scalable, energy efficient AI systems worldwide.

Responsibilities

You will undertake design, modeling and verification of custom analog designs for high‑speed serdes transceivers in advanced technology nodes; supporting customers on requirements and specifications as well as supporting analog IP and chip level integration.
