Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Anaesthetic Rota Co-ordinator (Internal Only) to create and manage the rota, ensuring staffing levels and theatre utilisation are sustained. You will work with Theatre Schedulers/Managers and a small team to maintain continuity of service and respond to urgent rota changes.
The role is based in Exeter with a 32-hour week (Monday to Friday).
Vacancies Anaesthetic Rota Co-ordinator (Internal Only)
The post holder is responsible for the creation and day to day management of the Anaesthetic Rota, ensuring staff levels are maintained at all times. This will require excellent planning, negotiating and organisational skills to ensure plans/changes are implemented and communicated. The ability to respond effectively and autonomously to unplanned urgent changes to the rota is also required.
The post holder will need to develop specialist knowledge in a short time to be able to manage the rota. The post holder will prepare monthly tracking spread sheets which are reported to Financial Accounts. The post holder will be sharing workload with another rota co-ordinator and 2 rota administrators. The post holder will work closely with the Theatre Schedulers/Managers to ensure continuity of service and maximise theatre utilisation.
Working Pattern:Monday to Friday - 32 hours per week
