Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust in Kent and Canterbury Hospital invites applications for 12- to 24-month fixed-term ST3+ Anaesthesia Fellowships. The posts support development of RCoA Stage 2 capabilities and strengthen applications for Higher Training pathways.

Fellows will perform ST3+ level anaesthetic duties, participate in elective and emergency work, and contribute to QIP/audit/research with supervision from an Educational Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Post is aimed at developing RCoA Stage 2 capabilities and supporting Higher Training applications.
• Fellows undertake ST3+ level anaesthetic duties with supervision and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake elective and emergency anaesthetic work.
• Participate in a 1:8 on-call rota covering ITU when required.
• Complete Stage 2 workplace-based assessments and contribute to QIP/audit/research.
• Engage in subspecialty activity and MDT discussions, with teaching and governance involvement.
