A healthcare organization in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated clerical support assistant to help manage administrative tasks in the AMU and DVT Clinics. The candidate will act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. The position is essential for maintaining daily operations and enhancing patient care.

To support with clerical and administrative duties in the day to day running of AMU, DVT and our Same Day Emergency Care Clinic.
To be part of a hardworking and efficient multidisciplinary team, acting as an initial point of contact for patients, families and external teams visiting the ward. Assist in answering telephone calls, liaising with patients and their families, keeping diary’s up to date and maintaining up to date information on Trust systems and problem solving.
Welcomepatients and visitorstotheward, answering appropriate questions and providing any relevant information in a sensitive manner, referring to qualified members of the team as necessary.
Undertake clerical and administrative duties on behalf of the ward.
Liaisewithindividualteammembersandotherdepartmentsasrequired,inananner that will contributetotheeffectiveandefficientrunningoftheward.

Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.
