Job summary

Danske Bank in Belfast is seeking an AML/KYC Analyst to help safeguard customers and the bank from financial crime. You’ll complete risk-based reviews and maintain up-to-date customer information, with structured training and supportive teammates.

The role is hybrid, with training in the office and three days on-site once fully trained. You’ll assess risk levels, perform due diligence, and work with stakeholders to gather information while applying policies and reporting suspicious activity.

• Apply relevant policies and procedures, document clear risk-based decisions and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Identify and report unusual or suspicious activity in line with internal processes.
• Manage your workload accurately and efficiently, meeting agreed quality and service standards.

What You’ll Do

As an AML/KYC Analyst, you’ll help safeguard personal, business, corporate and commercial customers by completing risk-based reviews and maintaining accurate, up-to-date customer information. You’ll:

Your Skills

You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the confidence to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
• The ability to interpret information, make evidence-based decisions and explain your rationale.
• Good organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

How We Work

This is a hybrid role. During training, you’ll spend more time in the office so that you have the support you need. Once you are fully trained, the role is expected to include at least three office-based days each week, with flexibility for the remaining days, subject to business needs.
