Job summary

Montresor Legal is seeking a Business Acceptance Analyst to join its Risk Management team in central London. The role focuses on client onboarding risks, conflicts checks, and due diligence for new matters.

You will work with partners and fee-earners, conduct and analyse conflict searches, perform KYC, assess source of wealth, and advise on escalation. UK AML guidance knowledge is essential, and Intapp Open experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s experience in AML, conflicts or business acceptance within a law firm.
• Experience analysing and resolving conflicts and confidentiality issues.
• Working knowledge of UK AML legislation and relevant legal-sector guidance.
• Experience conducting customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence.
• Understanding of sanctions, PEPs and other high-risk categories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and analyse conflict searches, identify potential conflicts and confidentiality issues.
• Perform customer due diligence on new and existing clients, including trusts and SPVs.
• Assess source of wealth/funds and determine level of due diligence required.
• Review and approve or escalate new matters; support information barrier arrangements.
• Conduct PEP, sanctions and adverse-risk screening; complete risk assessments.
