Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency is seeking an AML Analyst for our client in Jersey. The role supports AML Services, onboarding and review of customers, investors and portfolio companies, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT/CPF regulations.

You will contribute to training, policy development and ad-hoc projects in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of compliance and/or AML experience.
  • Awareness of Jersey AML/CFT/CPF regulations.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation.
  • Capability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with confidence in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to learn and develop a suitable work ethic.
  • Holding or working towards an appropriate AML-related qualification.
  • Confidence in engaging with counterparties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring that entities, general partners, and funds operate in compliance with applicable AML legislation and regulations.
  • Support the onboarding, review, and screening processes for customers, investors, counterparties, and portfolio companies.
  • Maintain and roll out employee induction and periodic AML training.
  • Provide guidance and complete AML-related tasks to support the wider AML Services team and the business as a whole.
  • Contribute to relevant ad-hoc projects within the team's remit, as requested.

Job description

This role is for an AML Analyst within the AML Services team, reporting to the AML Manager. The team collaborates with colleagues in Luxembourg and Jersey to deliver essential Anti-Money Laundering (AML) support to the broader organisation, focusing on the onboarding and review of customers, investors, and portfolio companies. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all relevant AML, Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Counter Proliferation Financing (CPF) regulations. The successful candidate will assist in onboarding, reviewing, and screening customers and investors, while maintaining and implementing employee induction and periodic AML training. This position requires a proactive approach to support the AML Services team and contribute to various ad-hoc projects as directed. The role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
