Eden Scott is proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected Financial Services firm based in Edinburgh.

Due to increased workflow, the firm is expanding its central support team and is seeking a detail-oriented AML Analyst to join their close-knit, professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a business that values integrity, collaboration, and regulatory excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform AML and KYC checks on new and existing clients, ensuring full compliance with UK regulatory standards.
  • Review and process documentation for pensions and investment applications, with a strong focus on AML risk.
  • Serve as a key contact for internal teams and external clients regarding AML-related queries and documentation.
  • Liaise with product providers to gather and verify information, issue Letters of Authority (LOAs), and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
  • Prepare AML reports, conduct client risk assessments, and support pre-sale documentation processes.
  • Manage your own workload while supporting the wider team in prioritising AML-related tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in AML, compliance, or financial administration within a wealth management or financial planning setting.
  • Solid understanding of UK AML regulations and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in submitting new business applications and using financial platforms (experience with Intelligent Office (IO) is a plus).
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
