Job summary

Premium Linguistic Services is seeking Amharic interpreters for Glasgow on-site assignments. You will provide face-to-face interpreting between service users and providers, maintain confidentiality, and liaise effectively with stakeholders.

The role offers flexible hours, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with public and private sector clients. Applicants should be fluent in English and Amharic, demonstrate interpreting experience or qualification, and be eligible to operate as self-employed

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Amharic required.
• Face-to-face interpreting experience expected.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong time-keeping and scheduling skills.
• Liaise between service users and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret in person between service users and providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in interpretation.
