Job summary

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a range of excellent primary schools across S11, Sheffield, for Early Career Teachers (ECT). The roles offer mentoring, supportive teams and opportunities to develop teaching skills from September 2026.

Pay ranges from £120 to £180 per day depending on experience and assignment, with full-time, part-time and flexible supply options available. DBS checks and QTS or eligibility are required for applications.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or expected to qualify before September.
• A genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching where needed.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute positively to school life and wider activities.
