Job summary

Prime-Appointments is recruiting an Aluminium Window Fabricator for a busy Braintree workshop. You will manufacture bespoke aluminium windows, doors and glazing systems from technical drawings, using specialist machinery and hand tools.

This full-time, permanent role offers day shifts, with a competitive hourly rate (£14–£16 DOE). You should have experience in aluminium fabrication and a strong eye for detail to help us meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as Aluminium Window Fabricator or in aluminium window and door manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and workshop machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating aluminium windows, doors and glazing systems.
• Reading and working from technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Operating workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
• Using crimping machines, drills, routers and hand tools.
• Assembling frames, glazing components and associated hardware.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the fabrication process.
• Working to production schedules and project specifications.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Supporting the fabrication team to meet production deadlines.
