Job summary

AMS Ltd in Magherafelt is seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join its workshop team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will fabricate frames and glazing systems from technical drawings, cut and machine aluminium profiles, and assemble windows, doors, shopfronts and curtain walling.

The role involves TIG welding where required, strict quality checks against drawings, and working with the team to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven workshop experience in aluminium fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Experience cutting, machining and assembling aluminium profiles accurately.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate aluminium frames and glazing systems from technical drawings.
• Cut, prepare and machine aluminium profiles accurately.
• Assemble, fit up and finish aluminium windows, doors, shopfronts and curtain walling units.
• Weld aluminium (TIG) where required.
• Check work against drawings and quality standards before dispatch.
• Keep the workshop clean and follow health & safety procedures.
• Work with the team to meet production deadlines.
