Ayton & Mckeown Ltd in Peterborough is seeking an Aluminium Doors & Windows Fabricator with strong mechanical aptitude to join our skilled fabrication team. You will use power tools and read engineering drawings to cut, shape and assemble metal components to exact specifications.

The role offers a full-time, onsite position with a salary in the £13.50–£17.00 per hour range, depending on experience. Overtime is available and a company pension is provided.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using power tools for metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Basic maths for measurements during fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
• Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
