Job summary

Addepar is seeking an Alternatives Data Operations Analyst to work UK hours from our Edinburgh office, focusing on capturing and validating private funds and non-public investments data. You will oversee data quality, security master and workflows, delivering timely insights for research projects on investment decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial investment/advisory industry with knowledge of capital markets and back-office systems.
• Hands-on SQL and data warehouse experience for auditing large datasets.
• Familiarity with AI developer tools to optimize workflows and code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the UK team to investigate Alternative Investment attributes during UK hours.
• Research investments in Addepar’s global database and classify per asset type, vintage, and strategy.
• Oversee and manage operational workflows for alternative data processing.
• Develop and maintain process controls and metrics to ensure data quality.
• Partner with Research to implement and run data quality validations.
• Oversee security master and security classification processes.
• Own and optimise data pipelines, troubleshooting end-to-end ingestion issues with engineering teams.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted tooling to shorten validation cycles.
