Non-Maintained Special School - Alternative Provision Teacher (Full time) Start Date: April 2026 Pay: MPS + SEN Allowance (£2787 p.a.) Are you motivated to work in a provision that really is more than a school where the vision is to improve the quality of life for all students? Are you enthused by the prospect of supporting an ethos where the holistic needs of every student are prioritised and where we strive to see the good in everyone? We are looking for enthusiastic and highly skilled applicants with experience of either special, mainstream, FE or alternative provision settings, with the ability to deliver high calibre learning experiences in our brand new satellite provision, Breckenbrough Woodland Centre, TS15 0JR. Breckenbrough caters for boys aged 9 to 19, who are primarily diagnosed with Autism, PDA, ADHD, and other complex needs. As a school with a Quaker ethos, we pride ourselves on our shared values of equality, respect, tolerance, honesty, forgiveness, and conflict resolution, as we strive to attain the best outcomes possible for all our students. The Woodland Centre will provide alternative provision for both Breckenbrough and non-Breckenbrough students, within a safe, nurturing, inclusive and inspiring woodland-based learning environment. The aim of the provision is to achieve positive engagement in education, development of wider employability skills and positive and sustainable progression pathways.
