Alloy Wheel Technician Required in Newcastle

Are you an experienced Alloy Wheel Technician looking to enhance your career within a reputable main dealer environment? Our client is seeking a skilled Alloy Wheel Technician to join their expanding bodyshop team in a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing top-quality alloy wheel repairs and delivering exceptional customer service in a professional setting.

  • Competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum including OTE, with a £26,000 basic salary
  • Working hours Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, with Saturday shifts on a rota basis

Duties
  • Carrying out repairs on standard and diamond cut alloy wheels using mobile diamond cut repair lathe equipment
  • Ensuring all repairs are completed to the highest standards in line with manufacturer and company processes
  • Matching alloy paint colours accurately to ensure seamless finishes
  • Communicating effectively with customers to explain the work required and estimate costs, ensuring all approvals are obtained before work commences
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in alloy wheel repairs or a similar role, such as tyre fitting with a desire to specialise further
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality workmanship
  • Good understanding of paint matching and cosmetic repair techniques
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
