Silcom Recruitment Limited is seeking an Alloy Wheel Technician for a busy refurbishment workshop in Chichester. The role welcomes wheel specialists or trained tyre fitters transitioning to a specialist capacity, with comprehensive training provided.

You will repair and refurbish alloy wheels, ensuring high-quality finishes while meeting daily targets. A full UK driving license, safety awareness, and team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in alloy wheel refurbishment is desirable but not essential.
• Background in tyre fitting considered with training provided.
• Full UK driving licence – essential.
• High attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of alloy wheel repair and refurbishment work.
• Work to meet daily workshop targets.
• Maintain high finish and quality control on all work.
• Communicate with service advisors and team members regarding additional work.
• Complete job cards accurately with full descriptions of work carried out.
• Ensure customer vehicles are ready within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow safety procedures.
• Handle vehicles with care and professionalism.
• Read and understand technical specifications and documentation relevant to the role.
