Via is seeking an Algorithm Researcher to join our London R&D center. You will design and optimize core algorithms, explore approaches with data, and build production-grade services that support Via's transportation networks worldwide.

Ideal candidates hold MSc/PhD and 3+ years in algorithm development, data science, or software engineering, with strong Python skills and experience in cloud and DevOps. You will collaborate across researchers, data scientists, and engineers, turning research

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of algorithm development or data science experience.
• Strong Python skills and production-quality coding ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve Via's core algorithms.
• Evaluate algorithmic approaches using data and experiments.
• Develop and maintain production services for algorithmic solutions.
• Work with large datasets to analyze system behavior.
