Job summary

Change Grow Live in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, is recruiting a Recovery Coordinator to support service users from entry through their treatment journey within the Alcohol Team. The role focuses on screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral to ensure people access the right interventions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a similar field.
• Experience of working with groups or pods and managing group dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users from entry into the service and through their treatment journey.
• Providing screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promoting carer, service user and community involvement.
• Providing advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Working with service users to support social reintegration and recovery.
