Job summary

The Aberdeenshire Integrated Drug & Alcohol Service (DAS) invites applications for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our dedicated team. You will deliver pharmacological and psychological, recovery‑focused interventions to people affected by alcohol use, working within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.

This role includes community detoxifications and assessments across Aberdeenshire.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as RMN or RGN.
• Active UK driving licence.
• Experience in substance use or community health advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to individuals with alcohol use issues.
• Undertake community alcohol detoxifications and assessments.
• Deliver interventions within a multidisciplinary, recovery-focused framework.
• Collaborate with partner agencies across Aberdeenshire.
