Job summary

NHS Lothian invites applications for Lead Buyer to join our expanding Procurement team. We are the second largest Health Board in Scotland, serving Edinburgh, Mid Lothian, East Lothian and West Lothian.

You will be a team player, support stakeholders, analyse spend data and deliver best value procurement options aligned to public procurement regulations. Good communication and MS Excel skills are essential.

Lead Buyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join an expanding Procurement team in NHS Lothian. We are the second largest Health Board in Scotland providing a comprehensive range of primary, community-based and acute hospital services for the populations of Edinburgh, Mid Lothian, East Lothian and West Lothian.

We are looking for a team player who will share our values and will enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced environment, playing a key role in supporting stakeholders, analysing spend data and delivering best value procurement options aligned to compliance with public procurement regulations and NHS Lothian's standing financial instructions. Good communication and MS Excel skills will be essential to the role.
