Job summary

NHS Scotland at East Lothian Community Hospital is seeking a part-time Domestic Services worker to provide essential cleaning and support across clinical and non-clinical areas. The role requires adherence to quality standards, health and safety, infection control and national specifications.

Applicants should be prepared for PVG checks, and the post will be pro-rata for part-time hours. Working days include Monday to Thursday evenings and Friday late shift, with a permanent contract.

• Responsible for providing a range of domestic services within Clinical / Non Clinical Departments throughout all areas of the Hospitals and Health Centres ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements, National Cleaning Services Specification and other requirements as specified by the Division.
