A dynamic aviation solutions company in Haywards Heath is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage diverse projects. This role includes leading project delivery, coordinating internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion while maintaining high standards. Candidates should possess significant project management experience, ideally in aviation or technology, and have strong communication skills. This position provides a hybrid working model and numerous benefits, contributing to a balanced work-life.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join the Gama Aviation Project Management Office (PMO) in support of work across the Gama Group. This is a diverse role that offers the unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, which requires knowledge and experience of many different aspects of the Aviation Industry. The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading, coordinating and delivering multiple challenging yet rewarding projects, including all aspects of project delivery to the point at which a capability is transitioned to a business‑as‑usual state. This role will have exposure to various aspects of our business, from operations to innovation initiatives, with the responsibility of ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will be joining an innovative team, tackling complex challenges that directly impact our business growth and success, whilst driving continuous improvement across the PMO function. We are looking for a driven and experienced Project Engineer who will engage confidently at a senior level across the Strategic Business Units (SBU) and tailor internal processes to meet the specific needs of each SBU. The ability to contribute to bid development and commercial negotiations is highly desirable, as is the ability to build and manage long‑term customer relationships.
Gama Aviation is a hugely diverse business that offers much more than perhaps its name would suggest. Yes, we fly but we also save lives, provide mission‑critical intelligence, and build systems that deliver decisive advantage.
