Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a 4-month contract at Crawley, near Gatwick Airport. Immediate start available; PAYE only with daily rate £450–£500. You will lead structural refurbishment packages, manage sub-contractors, and coordinate with airside teams to keep operations safe and compliant.

Rigid adherence to permit regimes, RAMS, and ITP sign-offs is essential. Prior airport experience and a robust CSCS card are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Airport environment experience required or strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in structural repairs, bridge jacking, temporary works.
• DBS check and Airside Pass history will be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage sub-contract packages including bridge jacking and bearings.
• Oversee temporary works and permits, including scaffolding operations.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil/structural and electrical/plumbing trades.
• Act as technical liaison with airport operations and sub-contractors.
• Ensure QA, RAMS compliance and safe, on-time delivery.
