Job summary

WHSmith in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service, work independently or as part of a team, and help maintain our store standards across busy locations.

You will handle stock replenishment, keep displays inviting, and support colleagues to meet our high standards. Flexibility with start times and days is required, with a view to building a long-term career within WHSmith.

Qualifications

• 5 years continuous references required for airport pass.
• Criminal Records Bureau check will be completed by WHSmith if successful.
• Photographic ID (passport or UK driving licence) required.
• Must be fully flexible with start times and days.

As a Sales Assistant you'll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.

Airport Requirements:

• 5 years continuous references - to gain an airport pass you will need to provide 5 years' worth of either employment or education references without any gaps
• Criminal Records Bureau Check - to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful
• Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence
• Must be fully flexible with regards to start times and days of work.
