Job summary

GBA Logistics – Global Solutions is hiring for an Airside Driving & Warehouse Operative (Nights) based near Gatwick Airport. The role involves a mix of driving and warehouse duties within a small team, with a focus on airport deliveries and despatches.

The position requires 3+ years driving experience, a full UK licence with few points, and a clean 5-year employment history. Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, 19:00–07:00, on site at Gatwick.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years driving experience (airside preferable but not essential)
• Full, UK Driving Licence with less than 6 points
• 5 year checkable employment history (no gaps in employment above 28 consecutive days)
• Right to work in UK & no disqualifying convictions for working airside

Responsibilities

• To ensure 100% Aviation security protocols for all deliveries/collections processing through your facility.
• Load and secure items to delivery vehicles (which could be your own)
• Security Screen items to either Cabin Baggage or Known Cargo Status.
• Time management/route planning and communication to ensure your workload is completed.
• Planning and despatching loads (including via Transport Management System and liaising with drivers requiring assistance whist performing their duties.)
