Job summary

Aviation Advisors Limited in Bradford is seeking multiple full-time security officers to join on a permanent basis. You may choose day, night or weekend shifts, with options to work days or nights plus weekends. Day shifts run from 8 am to 6 pm or 8 am to 8 pm, with a pay rate of £19.50 per hour; night shifts are from 8 pm to 8 am at £22.50 per hour.

Weekends and overtime are paid at £25.50 per hour. We pay weekly, with 45–60 hours per week guaranteed. A £3,000 joining bonus is paid in December.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear and effective communication, for reporting and interaction.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions.
• De-escalation skills and peaceful conflict handling.
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic computer applications.
• Ability to patrol, stand long hours and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters, and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems for threats or incidents.
• Controlling access by logging entries/exits and restricting areas.
• Responding to alarms, incidents, and emergencies as needed.
• Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances.
• Maintaining logs and incident reports, communicating irregularities.

Day , night and weekend shifts available

You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends

Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £19.50 hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
