Job summary

Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub is hiring a Ramp Agent in Aberdeen to support freight movement at Aberdeen Airport. This full-time temporary role offers split shifts 05:30–09:30 and 16:30–20:30, Monday to Friday, with pay at £14.69 per hour.

You will help load/unload aircraft, sort freight, and assist with turnaround tasks in a fast-paced airport environment. Candidates with aviation or logistics experience are preferred; training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation, logistics or similar operational settings is preferred but training may be offered.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Able to work in a busy, time-critical environment with safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort and scan inbound/outbound freight and prepare load plans.
• Load and unload vehicles and assist with aircraft handling as required.
• Support aircraft turnaround activities and freight coordination.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and reports.
• Respond to queries by telephone and email and coordinate with third-party handlers.
