Job summary

BaxterStorey is hiring a Prep Chef to join their Heathrow Airport team. This full-time role involves preparing high-quality dishes, supporting all kitchen sections, and delivering 5-star hospitality during early and late shifts.

The position emphasizes food safety, teamwork, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have GCSE+ education, a passion for food, strong organisational skills, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education or above.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes in your assigned section according to SOPs.
• Take ownership of your section, ensuring ingredients and equipment are available and maintained.
• Understand the menu and ingredients in each dish.
• Ensure dishes are visually appealing and properly seasoned.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations; maintain cleanliness in your section and kitchen.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling food inventory and waste.
