Job summary

First Call Contract Services Limited is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to support a busy aviation catering operation at the airport. You will be responsible for safely loading and delivering catering equipment to aircraft, coordinating with cabin crew and ensuring timely deliveries across the UK.

Shifts include early, late and night hours with a 20% uplift for night shifts. A Cat C licence and CPC are required, along with clear English communication and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Ability to read, speak and write English.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect catering equipment and bar sets onto 17-tonne rigid vehicles.
• Drive airside and deliver catering supplies safely and on time to aircraft.
• Liaise with cabin crew to coordinate transfers between vehicle and aircraft.
• Occasionally deliver stock to other locations across the UK.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy, time-sensitive environment.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and in line with operational requirements.
