Job summary

SSP UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Barista for the Newcastle Airport Starbucks. This fixed-term role runs until the end of November 2026, starting at 3am with flexible weekday/weekend shifts and bank holidays. Pay rate is £12.71 per hour, plus an extra £1.20 per hour for hours between midnight and 6am, totaling £13.91.

Responsibilities include sharing knowledge of beverages, delivering friendly service, and keeping the unit clean and welcoming. Previous coffee shop experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Coffee shop experience required.
• Age 18+ for certain tasks and shifts, and ability to sell and handle alcohol.
• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
