Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking an Airfield Support Team Supervisor at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. The role is full-time with travel for training and MoD site visits.

You will lead the Airfield Support Team, supervise critical equipment, and manage communications and safety compliance. The position requires supervising experience, knowledge of airfield communications or related technical operations, and the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams delivering technical operations.
• Knowledge of airfield ground radio and aviation engineering environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of Airfield Support Team activities, allocating work and resources to meet operational needs.
• Ensure air traffic management equipment safeguarding activities meet regulatory and local requirements.
• Oversee control, maintenance, servicing and installation of radio communications equipment and antennas.
• Manage station frequency allocations, renewals and stakeholder communications.
• Promote a Zero Harm culture by reporting and addressing safety concerns.
• Support and coach colleagues while monitoring performance and training requirements.
