Babcock International is seeking an Airfield Support Equipment Technician at RAF Waddington, near Lincoln. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing airfield support equipment to keep military aviation operations ready and safe.

You will work hands-on in a high‑profile environment, contributing to operational readiness, safety, and mission success with a team of specialists. A full time, permanent position based in Lincolnshire offering varied, active duties.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant engineering, maintenance or mechanical experience.
• Experience inspecting, maintaining and repairing technical equipment.
• Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a regulated environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair Airfield Support Equipment to engineering standards.
• Prepare equipment for deployment and manage post‑deployment servicing.
• Maintain station equipment racks and support gate guardian assets.
• Support operational and exercise commitments on and off station.
