Gold Group is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic based at RAF Marham, Norfolk. Permanent role with a 4-day week (Mon-Thu) from 07:15 to 17:00. Salary £36,443 plus benefits and potential relocation support.

You will maintain the F-35 fleet and ensure airworthiness records are accurate, with strong emphasis on compliance and safety. Candidates must be British nationals, have 5+ years UK residence, and be eligible for SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience of EASA/MRP Part 145.
• Experience of working on military aircraft programmes.
• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship.
• Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or City & Guilds 2675/2661.

Responsabilités

• Carry out maintenance on aircraft including role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs and tests.
• Ensure maintenance activities follow Approved Technical Information and risk assessments; keep airworthiness records.
• Document activities and report issues; escalate as needed.
• Comply with MOE, procedures and standards; apply human factors and safety principles.
• Support Continuing Airworthiness Assurance compliance within the maintenance organisation.

Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Location: RAF Marham, Norfolk

Role Type: Permanent

Salary: £36,443 + benefits & relocation support potential

Aircraft Mechanics required to provide maintenance engineering support to the F-35 Fleet based at RAF Marham.

4 Day Week Mon - Thurs! Hours: 07.15 - 17.00.

Candidates would need to hold British nationality and have lived & worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for SC security clearance.

What the role of the Aircraft Mechanic entails:

• You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintained
• Make sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and elevate as appropriate
• Procedure/Standards - Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards
• Safety Management System - You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance
• Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) - Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system

What experience you need to be the successful Aircraft Mechanic:

• Experience of EASA/MRP Part 145
• Experience of working on military aircraft programmes
• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications
• Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds 2675 or 2661.
