A leading aircraft restoration company in Duxford is seeking an Aircraft Engineer specializing in piston engine vintage aircraft. The role involves adapting to a fast-paced environment, excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities. Candidates should ideally have a background in maintaining piston-powered aircraft. Aircraft Engineer (Piston Engine Vintage Aircraft)
Aircraft Restoration Co. (ARCo) is a family-owned organisation which specialises in the restoration, maintenance and operation of vintage aircraft.
Aircraft Restoration Co. currently maintain around 50 piston engine aircraft the majority of which are vintage types. To keep up with the operational demands of this we are expanding our engineering team with emphasis on candidates who have a comprehensive background in GA piston aircraft maintenance along with an understanding of the mechanical sympathy expected when working on vintage aircraft.
Knowledge / experience of working on general aviation piston aircraft and/or vintage aircraft, or similar, is an essential requirement for this role.
This is a full-time role working within the hangars located at our Duxford Airfield facility in South Cambridgeshire, UK.
Ideally you will have a background in maintaining piston powered aircraft.
