Overview

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Vintage & General Aviation

Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Holidays: 29 days including bank holidays

Location: Cambridge

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated team. This role offers the chance to work with unique and historic aircraft in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate a diverse fleet with a focus on vintage and piston-powered aircraft.
  • Adapt to changing operational demands with quick thinking and flexibility.
Qualifications
  • Experience in aviation maintenance, ideally with vintage or general aviation aircraft.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in classic car restoration or similar precision engineering fields will also be considered.
  • Strong organisational skills and a meticulous approach to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional hangar environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and consistently exceed customer expectations.
  • A natural problem solver who enjoys rising to engineering challenges.
  • Willingness to provide occasional weekend cover as part of the engineering schedule.
